It's official!
After months of secrecy, Kylie Jenner has finally announced she's a mum.
The 20-year-old reality star gave birth to a baby girl, weighing 8lbs 9oz, at 4.43 pm on Thursday 1 February, she confirmed on Instagram on Sunday.
In the post, the beauty mogul detailed the reasons why she decided to keep her pregnancy under wraps for so long.
The youngest Jenner also posted a video of her with Scott to her Instagram page with the caption: 'thank you @wttyler for putting this together. here's a little glimpse of the last 9 months. the link is in my bio ♥️'
In the social media statement the make-up mogul wrote: 'My beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and I just couldn't wait to share this blessing.'
Kylie added that it was her choice to keep her pregnancy a secret as she thanked her friends and family for protecting her privacy.
She began the statement by writing: 'I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions.
'I understand you're use to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world.'
She added: 'I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.'
The star added a YouTube link to her Instagram profile of a 12-minute video which chronicles her pregnancy over the last nine months.
In the clip, Jenner can be seen attending several hospital appointments with Travis and her friends, as well as documenting her family's reactions to her pregnancy and scans of her baby girl.
E! News reports Kris Jenner, sister Kim Kardashian and friend Jordyn Woods were seen at the hospital where the reality star was admitted this past week.
A source said Travis was showing the baby off to his friends, adding: 'He seems so happy and just keeps rubbing her head and saying, "Daddy's here. Daddy's here."'
The news comes days after it was reported Kylie was staying at her mother's house in the run up to her then rumoured pregnancy and already picked out a baby name for her daughter.
Following Kylie's birth announcement, Kris Jenner took to Instagram to congratulate her youngest child on becoming a mum.
She captioned a video of Travis and Kylie on the beach: 'God is SO good!! I am so excited and thrilled to welcome another precious baby girl to our beautiful, ever growing family.

The new arrival is the first child for Jenner and her rapper boyfriend Travis Scott.
Last month, Kylie's older sister Khloé announced she was six months pregnant with her first child, weeks after Kim Kardashian welcomed her third child via surrogate.
