Disney is creating a live-action Winnie the Pooh movie, and its new trailer hits all the right nostalgic notes. Christopher Robin stars Ewan McGregor as a grown-up Christopher Robin, Hayley Atwell as his wife, Evelyn, Bronte Carmichael as his daughter, Madeline, and Mark Gatiss as his boss, Keith Winslow.

In the trailer, above, we see Christopher Robin being forced to spend the weekend working, even though he promised his family he'd go out to the country with them. But as he sits on a bench, wondering "what to do, what to do, what to do," he gets a visit from an old friend: Winnie the Pooh, who takes the form of a small stuffed bear. "I've cracked," Christopher says. "I don't see any cracks—a few wrinkles, maybe," Pooh replies.

Directed by Mark Forster, the movie, adapted from the A.A. Milne classics, will bring in all the favorites from the Hundred-Acre Wood to help adult Christopher Robin recapture the childhood magic he has lost since returning from World War II and embracing adulthood. Yes, that means we'll get to see Tigger, Eeyore, Owl, Piglet, Rabbit, Kanga, and many more, but reanimated as stuffed animals.

"The movie is so full of joy and emotion and also of scenes that I think are very timely," Forster told Entertainment Weekly. "[Pooh] is still as relevant today as he's ever been. Perhaps even more so."

Christopher Robin heads to theaters on August 3, which will make it perfect for taking kids on their summer vacation. Or just take yourself, with a full box of tissues for when you inevitably start weeping.
