It’s no surprise that year after year, glitter turns out to be a big trend for the festive season. With Christmas parties and after-work drinks becoming a regular occurrence, a bit of sparkle will no doubt enter our wardrobes, find its way onto our faces and adorn our nails in the weeks to come.
Being a bit of a magpie when it comes to all things glittery, I was excited to see a new take on the trend appear on the autumn winter 12 catwalks – disco lips!
Advocates include Kinder Aggugini, whose models wore a daring gold glitter lip and Moschino Cheap & Chic, where we spotted a soft plum lipstick layered with iridescent sparkles.
