Some of ELLE’s favourite women – among them Sheridan Smith and Suki Waterhouse – will be spending a day without make-up to raise money for BBC Children In Need.

As pretty much anyone who is a woman will testify, this is a Big Deal. And guess what? They want you to do it, too.

Following the success of last year’s campaign, it’s back with the same format: simply buy a £1 Pudsey Pawprint from the Post Office and apply instead of your usual foundation, blush and mascara on 8 November to show your support and raise essential funds for the charity appeal.

All proceeds from the Pawprints go directly to Children In Need and, if you want to ramp up your fundraising, you can also ask your friends and family to sponsor you to go, ahem, naked.

To quote Sheridan: ‘Pop a Pudsey Pawprint on instead of your makeup this Friday 8 November to help make a difference to young lives across the UK; every penny raised really will help!’

We’re a game lot at ELLE (remember when we came to work in our pyjamas for charity?). We’ll do it if you will. Who’s in? Tweet us @ELLEUK #BearFaced…
