Here at ELLE we like to keep ahead of the curve when it comes to beauty trends and while we were championing textured nails months ago - see the velvet look I created here - Rihanna has recently discovered the look herself.
The singer used Instagram to share a picture of her new nail look with the caption, 'Yup! That's suede!!! #slightwork #phuckyolook'.
While we covered our entire nail with the furry finish, Rihanna has gone for a more graphic design.
Ciate, who bought us the Caviar Kits, is launching three Velvet Manicure sets, £14 each, in Mink Cashmere (my personal favourite), Berry Poncho and Blue Suede. You simply paint your nails with the polish provided, dust on the crushed velvet (it comes in a handy shaker) and leave to dry.
