#ELLEsessions singing sensation and fashion maven, Louisa Rose Allen (aka Foxes) has gone strength to strength since we profiled the star in last year’s April issue of ELLE. Now, Foxes has now been revealed as the new face of adidas’ Energy Boost running shoe.

We grabbed 5 minutes with the singer to get to grips with her running routine…

ELLE: How do you like to keep in shape?

F: I don’t exercise like a nutter; I keep it fun. On tour, I think it’s good to get out and run because you need to stay on your best game and keep healthy.

ELLE: What’s your favourite running route?

F: I live near London Fields and a lot of my friends live around that area. So when we’re hanging out, we sometimes go for a run in the parks and fields. I try not to run on the street, because you usually end up having to dodge people.

ELLE: What skincare products are essentials in your gym bag?

F: I like Dermalogica products, and also Clarins HydraQuench moisturiser.

ELLE: What are your running wear essentials?

F: The adidas Energy Boost Trainers are literally like running on clouds. Actually rather than only using sportswear to go running, I tend to wear sports gear for everyday use. I love pairing classic adidas jackets with little vintage dresses.

ELLE: What criteria does your running wear need to fit?

F: I love monochrome and classic sportswear. There’s something iconic about the adidas classic tracksuit. It’s timeless.

ELLE: What’s your training uniform at the moment?

F: A full black and white adidas look. The monochrome adidas crop top, the matching leggings, black and white shoes and layered with a little jacket.

ELLE: Apart from running, how else do you like to exercise?

F: I do a lot of yoga. I prefer the more calming side of exercise and training.

ELLE: What would be the song to the soundtrack of your life?

F: Baz Luhrmann’s Everybody’s Free to Wear Sunscreen.

ELLE: What's on your running playlist?

1. Tennis Court (Flume remix) by Lorde
2. When A Fire Starts To Burn by Disclosure
3. Strong (High Contrast remix) by London Grammar
4. Running (Disclosure remix) by Jessie Ware
5. Do You Really Like It by DJ Luck and MC Neat
