The atmosphere backstage at Victoria Beckham AW2015 was charged, cramped, somewhat chaotic but above all, very creative. It was our Beauty Directors favourite beauty look of the day, right down to the new nude nails and very sleek looped pony. Take a step backstage with an access all areas video, then get the look with our notes direct from Victoria's hairstylist Guido Palau.
Guido told Beauty Director Sophie;
'The key to the look is the quality of the hair. you need to start with a smooth, sleek base, and the key to that is the speed of the drying. The quicker you dry it, the silkier the finish is.' (He used Babyliss Volare V1 Pro). '
'Prep hair with a blowdry balm (he used Redken Satinwear Blowdry Lotion), smooth it straight with a barrel brush. Then spray hairspray onto fingers (Redken Pure Force Finishing Spray) and rake fingers back through hair from the face.'
'Tie with a black elastic into a half pony where you catch the hair in a loop. It combines a sophisticated look but with an ease too.'
