Rebel Wilson has won the Rising Star award at the ELLE Style Awards 2015.
Jennifer Saunders presented the actress with her award tonight.
If you don’t recognise Rebel's name, you’ll certainly recognise her face (and her defiantly raucous sense of humour). Rebel has made a name for herself as a comedic actress in hilariously genre-bending films such as Bridesmaids and the popular musical comedy Pitch Perfect.
The 29-year-old Sydney-born actress started out by writing, producing and starring in stage productions, as well as in small comedy TV series roles in Australia. There’s no doubt that 2015 will be the much-deserved breakthrough year for Rebel, with the release of Pitch Perfect 2.
