Being friends with Chanel does have its perks. The fashion house whisked guests lucky enough to enjoy that designation to Las Vegas for a weekend of glitz and label love.
The brand flew seven private plane-loads of starlets, socialites and style insiders to the gambling Mecca to celebrate the opening of Numeros Prives, an eight-day pop-up museum at Wynn Las Vegas.
Jessica Alba, Leigh Lezark, Rachel Zoe, Lily Collins, Diane Kruger and Dree Hemingway donned their double-Cs for the occasion. Alexa Chung played DJ (or worked to make it look like Im very busy, as she explained to Jimmy Fallon earlier this month) and retro singer Imelda May performed at the opulent opening party.
The installation itself will be familiar to anyone who visited the brands at Harrods in September. It features ten rooms surveying the houses main touchstones, from recreations of Cocos apartment to the inside of a 2.55 handbag (that chamber comes complete with quilted leather walls).
Karl couldnt make it, what with the demands of the Chanel couture show and his new label launch to consider. Something tells us that the guests enjoyed themselves without the least smidgen of offence.
