When you think Sarah Jessica Parker, you think shoes. More specifically, you think vertiginous, spindly high heels that mere mortals might break an ankle in.
In that way, she and her most famous character, Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City, are very similar.
In fact, however much the 52-year-old SJP has tried to distance her persona from that of Ms Bradshaw, we can't help but think they are more alike than she is willing to admit.
We mean, they dress awfully similarly don't they?
And sometimes fact and fiction has blurred so much,SJP has actually ended up living a Carrie storyline when she lost that 'Carrie' necklace in real life and nearly had a heart attack as she tried to find it.
She has also ended up living Carrie's fantasy, by having her very own fashion line named after herself - the 'SJP Collection'.
The shoe line's mission statement reads, 'created with a commitment to quality, the single sole and using a colour as a neutral.'
Parker announced the newest addition to the line yesterday with a cheeky Instagram post that read:
'She's here! She's Meteor! And, as her name suggests, she's seriously out of this world. A comfortable, smart, day-to-night silhouette that's SO sparkly she'll blow your mind.'
With a video of Parker wearing the 'sneakers' whilst giving us a little frolick.
The sandle-trainer hybrid do look super comfy, and that sparkle gives it the Carrie edge.
But would the Sex And The City leading lady be caught dead in a flat though?
Well, the rest of us obviously would, since the Meteor sneaker is already sold out online.
It doesn't look the the SJP collection is available for UK buyers, so you're going to need to stop by Bloomingdales next time you pop by NY.
In the mean time we're just going to have to whip out our trusty Manolos. You've got a pair or two, right?
