There were many history-defining catwalk moments during SS17 Fashion Month.
A sense of feel-good nostalgia, frivolity and joy graced the runways, thanks to throwback 80s trends - stonewashed denim and shoulder pads - seen at the like of Stella McCartney, Isabel Marant and Givenchy.
And while the season's most iconic show might have been the return of the original Supermodels - with the likes of Carla Bruni, Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer storming the runway at Versace in Milan - there was also a clear nod to the future, most notably with the help of Cindy Crawford's daughter, Kaia Gerber.
Kaia Gerber has been dubbed by fashion editors worldwide as the 'baby supermodel' to watch.
This season, the 16-year-old made her catwalk debut, walking for the likes of Saint Laurent, Fendi, Miu Miu, Prada, Moschino and Alexander Wang to name but a few.
With her mother's killer figure, perfectly-sculpted brows, brilliant bone structure and olive-hued skin, Gerber was the sheer embodiment of fashion's wistful affection for the past but also, it's vision of the future.
As a result, we thought it was about time we got to know Gerber a bit more.
After all, we have a feeling her fashion debut was only the beginning for the teenager's career in the industry.
1. She was born for success
Kaia is the daughter of model-turned-businessman Rande Gerber and 80s/90s supermodel Cindy Crawford. When she was just 10-years-old, she landed her first modelling gig for Versace's junior line, Young Versace.
On hiring the model, Donatella Versace reportedly said: 'Like her mother, Kaia has a very special gift. The camera really, really loves her.
'It was such a special treat watching Kaia walk in her mother's footsteps.'
The star then went on to sign a modelling contract with IMG Models at the age of 13 - three years ahead of her mum who signed with Elite aged 16 - and made her first solo magazine cover for LOVE (shot by Kendall Jenner) when she was 14-year-old.
She also her acting debut last year in Sister Cities.
2. She's the face of Alexander Wang
Last year, the model landed her first major fashion gig as the face of Alexander Wang's #WANGSQUAD for SS16, alongside the likes of up-and-coming models Anna Ewers and Peyton Knight.
3. She has an older brother, Presley
The 18-year-old is currently dating model Cayley King and boasts over 480,000 Instagram followers.
He has modelled for several high-profile publications, brands such as Omega and Balmain, and recently walked in the Ralph Lauren, Zadie and Burberry show alongside his sister.
4. She's wracking up quite the A-list friendship group
From Karlie Kloss and Adwoa Aboah to Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner, the 16-year-old is pretty much redefining the term 'Squad'.
5. She thinks she's a nerd
'I'm the biggest dork. Not just at this party, but, like, everywhere. It's okay. I've accepted it,' she told ELLE magazine.
6. She likes to wear teal-coloured eyeliner
After having her make-up done for her first beauty campaign with Marc Jacobs by artist Diane Kendal, the model started to experiment with colour on her eyes.
'I actually started using teal matte eyeliner. It's good for bringing out brown eyes. If you do it the right way, it really works,' she told ELLE.
7. She likes to steal her brother's sweatshirts
The model loves to steal her bother's jumpers without him knowing.
In an interview with ELLE, she revealed: 'Not like Yeezy sweatshirts or anything, but they're just really good and worn in. And since he's bigger than me, they're really oversized, which I love with skinny jeans. He'll say, "Kaia, have you seen my stuff?" And I'm like, "Nope, guess you just left it somewhere."
8. She's a *big* Jimmy Fallon fan
After Kendall mentioned her photoshoot with the model last year on the presenter's show, Gerber gushed: 'When he said my name, on his show, I freaked out. He said my name! I was like, "He's holding LOVE Magazine! He knows who I am!"
9. She uses her free time to do school work
Despite her budding modelling career, Gerber admits she's still trying to keep up with her homework.
'It's really difficult, because you have a lot of different things going on. I go to school everyday, and that does come first,' she told Vogue.
'I use my free time for work, but because I love it so much, it doesn't feel like work and I still have fun with it. I don't really have days where I can sit and do nothing!'
10. She loves the outdoors
11. She regularly posts throwback pictures of her family to Instagram
With over two million Instagram followers, the model is keen to show she's still as down-to-earth with her family as any other teenager.
12. Karlie Kloss is her role model
'I really look up to Karlie,' Kaia told Teen Vogue.
'She's broken all the rules of what a model should be and uses her platform to benefit others. Plus we've met a bunch of times, and she's one of the nicest people ever. All my icons I look up to as people, not just their work.'
13. 'Chocolate' was her first word
According to an interview with Teen Vogue, Cindy Crawfod used to feed her bites of chocolate when she was just two-years-old and so 'chocolate' ended up being one of her first words.
