A month to the day after bets were suspended on Meghan Markle's wedding dress, due to a flurry of activity about a particular designer, it has happened again.

In February, bookmakers were forced to suspend bets as it seemed a lot of people knew ore than they should have about the (supposedly secret) chosen designer of Meghan Markle's wedding dress. After a deluge of voters opted for Kate Middleton favourite Alexander McQueen, bookies paused to investigate whether Kensington Palace had a leak giving some people an unfair advantage.

Now, the Daily Mail is reporting the bet-pausing has happened once more, this time because an unusual number of people seem to be voting for British design house Ralph & Russo.

It was Ladbrokes this time around that pulled the plug after a suspicious upswing in bets for the one brand.

A spokesman for Ladbrokes told the Mail, 'It looks as though Meghan's made her mind up as far as her dress is concerned, so we've decided to pull the plug for the time being.'

There has been no official word from Kensington Palace about the hotly-anticipated gown, though Ralph & Russo would be an excellent and romantic choice.

One of the more recent fashion houses to be invited to Paris for couture shows, Ralph & Russo's dreamy, etherial gowns would look divine on the 33 year-old for her second wedding come May. In fact, she wore one of their designs for that famous engagement photo shoot with Prince Harry.

Before betting was suspended, Ralph & Russo were the clear 1/3 favourites, ahead of the likes of Erdem at 3/1, Roland Mouret at 4/1 and Victoria Beckham at 6/1.

Erdem has been a firm favourite of Markle's soon-to-be sister-in-law, The Duchess of Cambridge recently, whilst Mouret came close to hinting he was the designer back in February.

Either way, all bets are literally off on this one.
