The hotshot US label has just opened its first boutique in the UK capital, on South Kensington's Pelham Street, in partnership with Club 21. And, in brilliant news for devotees, the 3,200 square foot space - think clean, luxurious and modern, lots of marble and brass - promises to carry the entire womens, mens and accessories collections.
London has always been so welcoming to us, we have waited it out and chosen our partner wisely,' says Wen Zhou, the label's CEO and co-founder. 'We are not going to rush into anything; we want to make sure we are in the right locations with the right message at the right time and Club 21 are really on board with helping us to do this. We are very excited.
The feeling's mutual. Plus, with Christopher Kane, Roksanda Ilinicic and (as rumoured) Victoria Beckham all set to open their first standalone stores in 2014 - and a second 3.1 Phillip Lim destination in the works already - we're also feeling a little bit spoilt.
