Karl Lagerfeld has teamed up with American toy brand Mattel Inc. to create the latest incarnation of the most famous doll in the world in his own image.
This is no perma-tanned Ken doll. Barbie herself has stepped into Lagerfeld's pointed ankle boots. A sketch shows that every detail of his signature look has been captured and adapted to suit right down to the neat ponytail.
The limited edition is set to launch this autumn as part of the Barbie Collector series, reports.
