Francisco Costa will mark his 10th anniversary as Calvin Klein’s women’s creative director with a star-studded party – how else? – during New York Fashion Week in September.

Costa, a two-time winner of the CFDA’s Womenswear Designer of the Year Award, joined Calvin Klein in 2003 after working with Tom Ford at Gucci and is credited with creating some of the brand’s most iconic looks.

The event also marks another exciting landmark for the brand: a change of catwalk venue. The new-season collection, which for the past five years has been presented at the company’s headquarters in New York, will instead be shown at the soon-to-be-opened Spring Studios in Tribeca.

Calvin Klein will be the first brand to show at Spring, the state-of-the-art venue set to become the go-to ‘360 degree resource for the fashion, beauty and luxury industries’.

The celebratory news follows the recently released campaign for Downtown, the new Calvin fragrance fronted by actress and ELLE favourite, Rooney Mara. The NYFW event will also play host to the global launch of the fragrance, making this one unmissable stop on the Fashion Week calendar.

The Calvin Klein Collection women’s runway show will take place on Thursday, 12 September at 2:00 EST.
