The 23-second spot gives a visual taste of what’s to come when Lagerfeld’s masstige line launches on Net-a-porter on 25 Jan. Between Anja Rubik ’s pout and some serious hairography, we detect swathes of silver flashing across a largely black and white line. Detached collars create a masculine, choker-like shape.
Overall, the effect isn’t dissimilar to what Lagerfeld himself wears every day. And like Lagerfeld, the kollection makes prominent use of the letter ‘K’. The press pack says it’s ‘ironiK, artistic, aKcessible,’ if not to grammar sticklers or litigious Kardashians.
