The notorious club scene of the 1980s is celebrated in the V&A’s latest exhibition. Post punk, the explosive rave culture of the 80s ushered in a new set of exhibitionist fashion tribes – Glammed-up-Goth, New Romantics and High Camp. Designers like John Galliano, Katherine Hamnett, Wendy Dagworth and Pam Hogg helped forge the unanimous link between club fashions and catwalk trends.
