He's headlined Glastonbury, debuted his Yeezy clothing line at Madison Square Garden and won 21 Grammy Awards but it seems there's one more creative venture Kanye West is yet to explore – flat pack furniture.

In an interview with Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, the Runaway singer revealed he is desperate to work with the Swedish design house.

'I have to work with Ikea — make furniture for interior design, for architecture,' he said.

Referring to himself in the third person (after all, he is Kanye) he added: 'I know that if I do a minimalist apartment inside a college dorm where the TV goes on the side of the wall... Yo Ikea, allow Kanye to create, allow him to make this thing.

'Because, you know what, I want a bed that he makes, I want a chair that he makes.'

The news comes after Kanye was spotted at Ikea HQ in Älmhult, Sweden back in March leading to speculation that he was set to collaborate with the flat-pack furniture specialists.

In light of Kanye's announcement to fulfil his flat-pack dreams, we've come up with a list of possible Yeezy-inspired designs that might be coming to our nearest IKEA warehouse.

YEEZY Bookcase

Despite recently admitting to Harpers Bazaar US that he isn't the biggest bookworm ('I'm not a fan of books') this YEEZY shelving unit will be built specifically to store the rapper's albums – and only his albums.

Stronger HEMNES

'N-now th-th-that that don't kill me, can only make me stronger', right? Well, just think how strong you'll be after building a Kanye-inspired Hemnes wardrobe, with several compartments to store all your Yeezy trainers.

FourFiveSeconds LACK table

With two kids at home, Kanye knows the importance of buying flat-pack furniture that's quick to build and can be wipe cleaned with a dampened cloth. Cue the LACK table you can build in four (or five) seconds.

Saint Pablo STUVA cot

Named after his son, this cot will be equiped with Yeezy bed covers and a built-in sound system playing 24/7 Kanye songs to rock your baby to sleep.

Only One OUMBÄRLIG pot

Despite admitting to Annie Mac that Kim isn't a fan of cooking vegetables ('When my wife cooks for me I will always ask for greens and she never wants to cook the greens because they take three hours to cook') we doubt she'd have any problems steaming Kanye's spinach with this bespoke stockpot with lid.

Just think, soon you might be able to put your Yeezy trainers in your Yeezy wardrobe, alongside your Yeezy bookshelf of Yeezy albums.

Stranger things have happened.
