Counting how many times a commentator says 'ball' during a game.

Seeing how long you can hold your breath during a tennis volley.

Watching the seconds count down until half-time and then realising the world is actually conspiring against you when four minutes of extra-time is added onto a football match.

For me, this is an average Saturday afternoon as I try to preoccupy myself while my boyfriend watches sport.

Look, I like sport, but sometimes it's really hard to fake interest in a team or match when you'd rather be catching up on Netflix, visiting the latest museum exhibition or going to the pub, without having to call up before hand to see if 'they're playing the game'.

One woman who knows the effort required to support your partner's sporting obsession all too well is Chrissy Teigen, who hilariously live-vlogged her way through the 2017 Super Bowl over the weekend.

At the start of the game, Chrissy – who sat next to her husband John Legend – was showed on the big screen at the Levi's Stadium but, instead of watching the game, was caught tucking into a bowl of nachos covered in melted cheese and a hot dog.

Later, the Sports Illustrated model pointed out 'things, they are a happening', to teach amateur football fans that things usually happen during the Super Bowl.

Who knew?

Later in the match, the mother-of-one filmed herself tucking into a slice of pizza, pointing out that, suprise suprise, more things were happening.

'Chrissy Teigen live on the sidelines. We are in the 25th quarter,' said the budding sports commentator.

Clearly becoming increasingly bored with the match, the star then says: 'Looks like more things are happening, if the Patriots score a touch down, things are happening and over.'

Fortunately for the star, the New England Patriots did win the game with 34 points which meant she could finally go home.

Chrissy, we feel your pain.
