Stop, drop and roll.

There is some fire coming from Calvin Harris' recording studio and it is h-o-t-t, hot.

The 33-year-old mega DJ, who has collaborated with everyone from Dizzy Rascal to Rita Ora (who he has also dated), Rihanna and his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, announced a new guest-heavy album last night.

Calvin (who is actually called Adam Richard Wiles) Tweeted the release date alongside a video of a pink-hued beach and all the artists that will be featured on the record.

Amongst them are Frank Ocean (who he has already released a single with), Pharrell Williams, John Legend, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Snoop Do--, sorry what?!

Dun, dun DUUNNN!

That's right, Katy Perry.

Katy Perry is the 32-year-old pop princess who famously, no INfamously has major beef with Calvin's ex Taylor.

Swift and Perry were friends, here is a Tweet from 2009 as evidence:

Swift did an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine which was rumoured to be about Perry in which she painted a picture of frenemies turned sour.

For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?' [Then] she did something so horrible. I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I'm surprisingly nonconfrontational—you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it.

Not a day after the interview came out, Perry seemingly confirmed who is was about with this epic Tweet:

The next year Taylor Swift's hit 'Bad Blood' came out and the world became convinced it was about Perry.

The song's lyrics read, ''Cause baby now we've got bad blood, you know it used to be mad love.' And lo' and behold, a year after that Perry had a new fragrance. What was it called? You guessed it Mad Love.

In-between the Mad Love / 'Bad Blood' debacle Swift stuck her oar in to some beef with Nicki Minaj which was actually nothing to do with her.

Perry then called Swift out for calling Minaj out (confusing, we know) on Twitter, insinuating Swift did worse to Perry than what Swift is alleging Minaj is doing to her (even that was a miscommunication).

And then (bear with)Swift made a jab at Perry by taking the mic out of the mis-matched dancing sharks from Perry's Superbowl performance on her tour.

All the while, Swift has dated and dumped Calvin Harris.

During their relationship, Swift and Harris secretly collaborated on his song 'This Is What You Came For' and only once it was out and the relationship was over did Swift reveal her participation.

Harris was allegedly displeased about how Swift revealed the news, and saw it as her trying to humiliate him, which seemed to be because she made it seem like he was being secretive, as opposed to them deciding together to keep schtum about the collab.

He responded with a Twitter take-down (which has since deleted, but we have here) which referenced Perry and how Taylor allegedly took her down too.

And Perry couldn't help but add her two-pence, with this gif and a retweeted version of 'I told you so.'

At the end of last year we couldn't tell if Perry was putting out and olive branch or throwing shade with this Tweet:

And yesterday, we reported that Perry was avoiding questions on whether a 'Bad Blood' response song was coming.

She also Tweeted this mysterious message:

Turns out we just needed a couple of hours to learn something was definitely on its way, though no word as to whether Calvin and Katy have been cooking up a cold plate of revenge in the booth.

We are secretly praying it's a diss track about the Hiddelswift relationship, though it would be nice for everyone to just be mature and move on...that didn't sound at all convincing, did it?

Don't worry about T Swift though, her fans are already going in for her:

We daren't even look at the Katy Kat's responses.
