Karen McDougal, a former playmate who has alleged an affair with Donald Trump in 2006, has finally revealed details of her side of the story on CNN.

She claims that she met Trump during the filming of Celebrity Apprentice at the Playboy mansion in 2006 and went on to have unprotected sex with him 'many dozens of times' over the coming months.

Trump denies all allegations of an affair with McDougal.

In 2016 the model is said to have signed a non-disclosure agreement, barring her from discussing her alleged affair, however, she is now suing the President in an attempt to free herself from the legal agreement.

In a new, lengthy interview with CNN she details her version of the relationship with the now-President explaining how the couple were very much in love, despite Trump being married to Melania Trump (who had just given birth to their son Barron).

McDougal reveals some shocking claims, including that he attempted to pay her after they first had sex, and that their intercourse was always unprotected.

She told Anderson Cooper, 'After we had been intimate, he tried to pay me, and I actually didn't know how to take that,' she continued, 'I don't even know how to describe the look on my face,' explaining, 'It must have been so sad'.

The model said she told the then reality star, 'That's not me. I'm not that kind of girl.' To which he responded, 'You're really special.'

McDougal explains how she wept in the back of the car after that degrading incident, but continued meeting him as she fell in love.

Her claims of a relationship with the now-President overlap with adult-film star Stormy Daniels. Daniels, who is similarly suing Trump to get out of an NDA, claims she had intercourse with Trump at an event in Lake Tahoe, where she says he similarly attempted to pay her and did not use protection. McDougal says she did not know about this alleged liaison.

Donald Trump denies Daniels' allegations.

In her interviews she continues to explain why she came forward with her story and apologised to Melania Trump for the hurt she may have caused.
