We already know that Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter were married on Valentine’s Day at a church on the Isle of Wight… Now The Sun has reported that one of Benny’s three best men was TV judge Robert Rinder.
The pair go way back to their days at the University of Manchester, where they studied together. Now, while Benedict is busy being nominated for Oscars, Robert stars on ITV reality court show Judge Rinder.
And we also hear that Benedict played an important role in Robert’s own big day – the actor officiated at the judge’s 2013 civil ceremony to his boyfriend Seth Cumming.
