Adele kicked off her epic European and North American tour in Belfast this week wearing a custom-made Burberry gown.
Never one to be shy and retiring, the 27-year-old told the 11,000 strong audience, 'I woke up sounding like Arnie. My voice was so deep because I slept with the air con on my hotel room.’
She added, 'My kid was being a nightmare, and then there was a spillage at Gatwick and I thought my boyfriend wasn't gonna get here - I thought the whole tour was doomed.’
Of course, Adele has never let a little adversity stop her. She belted out hits from all three record-breaking albums and even helped a female fan propose to her boyfriend on to celebrate the leap year telling her boyfriend, 'You need to say a proper yes, bruv. You have to say yes.'
There are 36 shows in this new tour so ballads aside, we’re intrigued to see what other dramas unfold on stage.
