After a week which probably involves at least one plane trip and countless cocktails, Friday night I go to Clapham Picture House (76 Venn St, London, SW4 0AT, picturehouses.co.uk) to catch a movie, Scottie, my partner, and I will then shimmy on down to Brunswick Café (30 Wandsworth Road, Vauxhall, SW8 2LG, brunswickhouse.co) for a glass of Vino and Gina's fantastic Deep Fried Pigs Ears, or over to Frank's Cafe (10th Floor, Peckham multi-story carpark, 95A Rye Lane, SE15 4ST, frankscafe.org.uk) for a Negroni nightcap.

On Saturday I'm up early for Hot Yoga, I pick up some breakfast goodies at Venn St Market Clapham (Venn St, London SW4 0AT, vennstreetmarket.co.uk) and head home to squeeze juice, and tuck into a huge bowl of granola from Gail’s (75 Salusbury Rd, London, NW6 6NH, gailsbread.co.uk).

The afternoon is spent in Lambs Conduit Street window-shopping in what has become the most fantastic street for menswear, my favourite shop being the Manchester brand Private White VC (55 Lambs Conduit Street, London, WC1N 3NB, privatewhitevc.com), or buying gorgeous trinkets from the fabulous Darkroom. Lunch is at old favourite Cigala (54 Lamb's Conduit St London, Greater London WC1N 3LW, cigala.co.uk) where we will enjoy their amazing value set lunch – the lamb meatballs and deep fried polenta are just the best. Then we probably meet friends from out of town for cocktails somewhere new and gorgeous – at the moment one of my favourite places is AQUA Shard (Level 31 The Shard, _31 St. Thomas Street, London SE1 9RY, aquashard.co.uk) they have a fantastic drinks list and probably the best views of London. Then it's home to Brixton – where en route we will nibble on some small plates and fabulous charcuterie at Canon and Canon in Brixton Village [cannonandcannon.com]. I can't leave the arcade without popping into Rosie's for cake to take home and something stunning and fizzy from Market Row Wines. We then head off home to watch a film, sip wine and eat cake.

Sunday mornings I take a long run, and then we enjoy breakfast at Brockwell Lido (Dulwich Rd Brockwell Lido, London, SE24 0PA, http://buff.ly/1drbNLA, brockwelllido.com). If the sun is shining its one of the most beautiful places to enjoy the papers and watch the swimmers do their stuff.

Sunday lunch at Dishoom Shoreditch (7 Boundary St, London Borough of Hackney, E2 7JE, dishoom.com) where I will tuck into Black Daal, Chicken Biryani and the very special Lamb Raan all washed down with gorgeous Chai and a Mango Kulfi for the road.

Supper is the remnants from the previous days excursions from Venn Street and Brixton Village, then off to bed for a week ahead of eating, drinking and meetings!
