Exclusive: Cheryl tells ELLE why she dyed her hair red

While other celebs seem to be hitting the peroxide bottle and turning their heads blonde for summer (Lindsay Lohan, Jamie Winstone and Jessica Alba to name just a few), this weekend saw one of the UK's most watched women, Cheryl Cole, stepping out with a brand new bold, red do.
The singer famous for her lush, brunette locks, revealed a new flame haired look - and told ELLE it's simply because she hasn't been a red-head before and needed a change.
'I’ve always loved red hair and it’s the only colour I actually haven’t been', Cheryl told us. 'I kinda had one of those moments where I really wanted change... I needed a change... I had one of those days where I was like, I wanna do it and I wanna do it now and I did it the next day. I’m glad I did it, I really like it' she said.
