On the 19 February London’s 02 arena looks set to be packed with the most exciting home-grown and international talent in the music industry.

Ellie Goulding, Arctic Monkeys, Bastille, Rudimental, Bruno Mars and Katy Perry are all slated to perform at the BRIT awards ceremony and predictably the nominations list – announced at an event last night by Nick Grimshaw with a performance from Tinie Tempah - is a Who’s Who of the most influential music talent, both established and up-and-coming.

Cultural icon David Bowie has received two nominations, singer Lorde could take home the International Female Solo Artist award, we’re rooting for Haim in the International Group category and ELLE favourite London Grammar are nominated as British Breakthrough Act – 'we're thrilled to be nominated just a year after we posted our first track online,' they say.

Lady Gaga, Eminem, Jessie J, One Direction and Justin Timberlake are also up for awards, so whichever way the vote swings, the red carpet is sure to be star-studded on the night.
