The fountain in front of Buckingham Palace was last night transformed into a stage to host the Diamond Jubilee Concert in celebration of The Queen’s 60 years of reign.
A celebration of six decades of music, performers included Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Tom Jones, Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Cliff Richard, Annie Lennox, Robbie Williams, Cheryl Cole, Jessie J, Will.I.Am and Gary Barlow – who curated the entire night’s performance.
Her majesty herself looked thrilled by the concert and shone in regal gold.
