The singer is set to perform at the BRIT Awards on Tuesday 21 February, and she’s poised to take advantage of her time in London by stopping by a number of LFW shows.
So where might she pop up? House of Holland , for starters. On Wednesday, Sky Living announced that Henry Holland had signed on to Rihanna’s forthcoming fashion competition show .
Rihanna (or as Holland described her, ‘the coolest woman in the world’) has worn HoH designs for her album cover shoot, festival performances and around London.
‘I'm really excited about this new show,’ Holland told Sky Living . ‘I think it's a great concept and a brilliant opportunity and platform for designers and stylists. A chance to work with Rihanna and some great mentors across the music and fashion industries is definitely something I wish I had been lucky enough to be able to do when I was starting out.’
Students of Rihanna’s style history will recall that she wore a lace Stella McCartney gown to the 2011 Met Ball. She has worn Stella designs on other occasions, making an appearance at McCartney’s special presentation on Saturday night a strong bet.
Surveying the rest of the show schedule, we wouldn’t be surprised to run into Ri-Ri at Ashish (sequins and attitude), Christopher Kane (Kanye liked it last season), Unique (she lunched with Sir Philip Green in Barbados , so...), Mulberry (we’ve been promised another celeb-filled front row) and Burberry . After all, Christopher Bailey is the master of the starry guest list—we hope Rihanna’s name is right at the top.
