H&M released photos from the football star’s first bodywear collection online. According to the accompanying press release, the range ‘has quality and longevity at its core’ and is the result of 18 months of research and development.
Call us crazy, but how much development could it have taken to come up with several varieties of pants (white, grey and black), vests and t-shirts? Still, let’s salute the R&D executive who flipped past an Emporio Armani ad and decided to put Beckham and his oiled pecs front and centre in our magazine pages, once again.
Back to the press release: ‘The collection aims to set a new standard in men’s bodywear for the 21st century.’ It might even prompt us to shop for men’s underwear. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, right?
