Ever since I got engaged - OK, and for quite a while before that too - I've been looking at everything through the wedding lens. I consider anything that might be small enough, fun enough and relatively easy enough to reproduce as a favour. I pay more attention to the wines I'm drinking. I have (shock, horror) started Pinning pictures of flowers.

So it was with much excitement that I watched as the pictures from were uploaded by our photographer direct from today.

Two words: white dresses.

Of course, the looks above weren't created as bridalwear, but they'd fit the bill perfectly.

Can you see it? Minus the heavy black shoe. Add an embellished sandal, a veil. A bouquet.

The mini dress with sheer panelling would look chic and elegant at a modern city registry, while the sleeveless jacket and trousers looks like a fresh take on the white wedding suit, à la Bianca Jagger. The gold chain detailing and pretty pleats are timelessly luxurious, feminine flourishes.

I'm inspired. Are you?
