Though Kaia Gerber first entered the modelling world known as Cindy Crawford's lookalike daughter, she's steadily carved her own path. Gerber has walked every major runway, graced magazine covers, and racked up countless campaigns from Calvin Klein to Chanel.

Now, Gerber just landed another big gig as YSL Beauty's new Global Make-up Ambassador. At 17, she is the brand's youngest face (Zoë Kravitz is also a Global Make-up Ambassador and Halsey is a collaborator).

The news was announced on October 1 with a series of portraits on Instagram showing the model with makeup done by Tom Pecheux. 'To be the new face of YSL Beauté is an opportunity to write a new story full of fun, colour and make-up,' Gerber told WWD. 'I love the DNA of a brand that is so subversive, while being luxurious and cool.'
