Backstage at Emilio Pucci we cleverly persuaded makeup artist Lisa Butler to spill some insider tips...
1 - Make your eyes look more awake in an instant
'To really make the eyes look open and fresh use a nude cream liner on the lower inner lash line. Try pick a colour a few shades lighter than your skin tone to keep it looking natural. I used MAC Chromographic pencil.'

2- Create a fuller looking pout with lip contouring
'Take a browny beige lip pencil and line the lower lip just where your natural crease is. Just do a small section in the centre rather than all the way to the edge to keep it looking seamless and subtle. Then do a line from top to bottom in the middle of your bottom lip. Finish with lining your your Cupid's bow and gently smudging out the pencil. I used MAC pencil in Cork and Oak.'

3- How do you cheat the no make-up look?
'Simple. Use a brow or lip pencil, I used the same pencils that i used on the lips, MAC pencil in Cork and Oak to make natural looking freckles on the cheek bones. Often you can see where freckles would be on the skin and you just want to pick these up.'
