Yesterday Tom Ford presented his collection, shrouded in secrecy, at his London HQ. During his narrative that went alongside the collection he talked briefly of his make-up line.
'When I launched the make-up, for me, it was about architecture of the face. Making cheekbones appear in the right proportion, so we do something called Shade and Illuminate, a lighter version of contour make-up that almost no one uses. So [the models'] faces are done up with Shade and Illuminate and they have a little gloss on the eyes that comes from the Illuminate part. And a strong brow.'
