Over the pond starts today, so it seemed only fitting to tell you about the King of New York Fashion Week’s latest fragrance launch.

Daisy has gone all fashionably functional on us (it’s seems to be the trend, have you seen those sensible kitten heels that are everywhere in fashion land?) with the launch of the Limited Edition Daisy in the Air on March 8th.

The fragrance is the same (fruity strawberry, gardenia and jasmine with a sweet vanilla and musk base), housed in a limited-edition bottle, but what’s worth noting is the Daisy garland that comes with. Simply spritz the daisy chain with fragrance and hang it up in your home. You can also ‘pick’ the daisies from the garland so you can scent different places – your drawer, your room, your car…

Great idea, right? Marc’s not actually the first to make a crossover fragrance. Frederic Malle has scented rubber incense for the home £65, Jo Malone sells living colognes that can be used on skin, linen and in the air, £45, while for real luxury, you can try Maison Francis Kurdijian’s scented washing detergent and fabric softener, £28 each. You won’t find it in the Sainsbury’s detergent aisle, though.

Marc Jacob's Daisy in the Air will be available nationwide from March 8.

Frederic Malle and Maison Francis Kurdijian are both available at Liberty
