Want your run around the park to mean something? Then why not sign up this month (otherwise known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month) for a run raising money for the charity Breast Cancer Care?

It’s a cause close to our hearts and as well as binning our bras this month, we’re thinking of signing up for some 2014 races....

Breast Cancer Care has a whole section on its website devoted to fundraising and there are plenty of runs from 5ks to marathons that you can sign up to. We’re tempted by the Brighton Marathon, the Royal Parks Half Marathon and the Glasgow 10k. They’re a challenge, yes, but we think it’s a cause worth training for. There are plenty of runs up and down the country and the website offers up free training plans to help you through. No excuses.

Take a look at the full list of races on Breast Cancer Care's website and let us know which races you’ll be running @ELLEUKrunning, we might just see you at the start line…

Not a runner? No worries there are tons of other ways you can raise money – sponsored walks, cycling, swimming and treks. See the full list of events here
