If Prada's Resort 2020 show is anything to go by, our obsession with all things hair accessories won't be waning any time soon.
Showing their latest resort collection at The Piano Factory in New York yesterday, the Italian fashion house sent models storming the runway in granny chic prints, oversized sequin scarves and striped blazers we need in our work wardrobe ASAP.
But the piece we'll be snapping up come payday? Leather ponytail cuffs. Adorning models' ponytails and top knots in shades of black, white and camel, the triangular and oval cuffs came complete with monogrammed Prada motif, of course.
Dreamt up by hair legend and backstage icon, Guido Palau, the 'knitting needle' cuff riffed on the eccentric meets socialist 'make do and mend' spirit of the collection, whilst mini metal Prada plaques clashed traditional factory finishes with our current love for noughties-style brand bragging rights.

Palau created the look by smoothing models' hair before mussing it up and giving it some grit with Redken Windblown 05 Dry Texturizing Hairspray. The aim? 'To create a sense of real world wearability.'
'There’s an ease to these looks,' continued Palau backstage, 'It’s almost how a girl would do her own hair.'
Finishing the look was Mother Of Make-Up, Pat McGrath, who daubed models' eyes with swatches of neon eyeshadow. Thumb prints of sky blue, electric pink and day-glo orange were pressed onto the outer corner of everyone from Gigi Hadid to Kaia Gerber's eyelids.
'We experimented with colour in an understated manner,' McGrath revealed backstage.
