Warning: Reese Witherspoon's new short hair cut will make you want to chop off all of your hair this summer.
The 42-year-old actress took to Instagram to debut her brand new hair cut, done by celebrity hair stylist Lona Vigi, who chopped her hair much shorter than Witherspoon typically tends to go.
'Thanks for my new summer cut @lonavigi,' she captioned her Boomerang post, which shows the Legally Blonde star smiling and clearly in love with the final result.
The choppy, short bob is a very different look for Witherspoon. She's typically known for her layered, long tresses and perfectly blended blonde highlights that she loves styling both straight and curly.
This hair transformation, though only a few inches off her signature blonde, is the most dramatic look that we've seen from the actress in a while. The last time Witherspoon made a hair change was in late April when she wore a shoulder-length, chestnut-brown wig on the set of The Morning Show, her upcoming Apple TV+ series.
Back in 2014, Witherspoon truly deviated from her usual blonde for her role in The Good Lie, for which she actually dyed her locks to an unrecognisable richer, chocolate brown shade.
With her shorter haircut, Witherspoon now joins Demi Lovato, Natalie Portman, and Kim Kardashian, who have all cut their hair in to classic bob styles in preparation for the warmer months ahead.
