Debuting her statement hairstyle via Instagram, the eldest Kardashian sister retired her signature black hair for a freshly-dyed platinum blonde bob, before returning to her roots months later. However, it seemed as if she might be bringing back her blunt bob for Spring once again.
Taking to Instagram this week, the entrepreneur and brand founder posted a series of images revealing a peroxide blonde bob in all its many guises: a pin-straight hydro-bob, a textured lob and flicked-out ends. She wrote: 'hi from lost blondie files'. While this is a throwback to her blonde era, there's no denying that the Kardashian makes a strong case for bringing back the bob for Spring.
Last year, the 43-year-old teased her new hair transformation with a throwback photo from 1995, captioning her teenage blonde locks with 'bored during my finals, convinces someone to dye my hair blonde to procrastinate'. In the same string of stories, she credited 1990s Drew Barrymore as her new hair muse.
Kourtney's bright chin-grazing cut was styled with a lace-up leather ensemble; a striking contrast to her newly-bleached look, though not one that strays too far from her rock aesthetic of recent years. The carousel of sultry shots was quickly followed by another more candid post of the reality star's icy blonde bob out in full force in Las Vegas. LA hair colourist Cassondra Kaeding, who created Kardashian Barker's fresh and frosty hue, also shared the hair reveal on her own Instagram with the caption 'hellooo blondie.'
Following closely in sister Kim's footsteps, who returned to her roots after a brief honey-turned-platinum blonde affair at a similar time, this jump to icy platinum was far from the first bold Kardashian hair transformation we've seen in the last year. Cut to earlier this year, and there was sister Kendall's pixie haircut for the SS24 Victoria Beckham shoot.
