We we're not ready for this: Kris Jenner just hacked her daughter Kylie Jenner's Kylie Cosmetics Instagram account to announce her own make-up line called Kris Cosmetics. As you can probably guess, it's dropping on Mother's Day—this Sunday.
The collection features five products, including a lip set of eight mini lip formulas called Momager. Jenner unboxed the collection on Instagram stories, calling the set 'fabulous.' The velvet shades are Too blessed, Middle finger, and That's wild. The gloss shades are This is Everything, Driving Me Crazy, and Really?. Then there's the Overwhelmed velvet and Boss matte.
During the unboxing story, Jenner said the face palette—called You're Doing Amazing Sweetie—was her favourite packaging. The outside of the box has a cartoon of her face tiled across, while the palette itself has her meme-worthy quote written over the Kylie logo. Inside are four powder formulas to get the perfect glow. 'I'm lit,' Jenner said as she swatched the shade 'Money Doesn't Grow on Trees,' a golden highlighter. One of the shades inside the face palette is called 'Your Sister's Going To Jail'...because of course it is.
The collection has an eyeshadow palette, too. The 10% palette has the words 'I Have One Word For Tonight: Vodka' written on the inside of the palette flap and features 12 powder eyeshadows in various matte and sparkly neutral tones, plus a matte black and a sparkly rose. The inside the box has black-and-white checkers, which Jenner called 'the best.'
There are also two lip products called Give Me a Kiss, one creamy lipstick in a tube and one gloss. They both come in black tubes with a silver cartoon of a middle finger splashed across.
This marks the first time the Momager has released her own make-up line. Her daughters, however, are no strangers to the beauty business. The eldest three launched a now-defunct make-up line called Khroma back in 2012, as well as a line of sunless tanners and hair products under the Kardashian Beauty label.
Sisters Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim have both already collaborated with Kylie Cosmetics on two highly successful collections of lipsticks. Of course, Kim famously went on to launch her own line of concealers, bronzers, and highlighting sticks under her own KKW Beauty label. And even Kendall Jenner has a longstanding beauty contract with Estée Lauder.
The collaboration was announced with a PR stunt claiming that the Kylie Cosmetics account had been hacked. The Kylie Cosmetics Instagram page name was changed to Kris Cosmetics. The new bio reads 'ONLY FOR A LITTLE 😉' meaning the hack probably won't last past Mother's Day.
A video was posted on Instagram Stories and the feed showing Jenner walk slowly out an all-black car with the license plate 'Fabulous' because of course. It shows Jenner strut into a building, cross out the name Kylie on the wall, then sit down on a gold throne with a black-and-white checkered backdrop.
