Tom Ford sees no need to re-invent the wheel. For SS19, models including Gigi Hadid, Kaia Gerber, and Joan Smalls took fringed frocks, animal prints, and metallic '80s suiting (complete with structured shoulder pads) to the runway.

To match the glamorous designs, make-up artist Diane Kendal was inspired by illuminated skin, boyish brows, and kohl-rimmed eyes. Foundation was kept relatively light for all of the emphasis to go to the eyes, lined with dark pencil and topped with plenty of mascara. Brows were brushed upwards and filled in, followed by glittery shadow blended along the lower lash line and softly towards the brows.

For models with darker complexions, Kendal used Pat McGrath's Mothership 2 shadow and Tom Ford Cream Colour in Sphinx on the lid and softly along the tear-duct for a glow-y, highlighted effect. Hairstylist Orlando Pita completed the look by slicking the models' locks back into ornate buns and then holding them in place with neutral-toned head wraps.
