Apparently 25 years in the making, ‘Skin Fetish Sublime Perfection: The System’ comprises three base products – primer, foundation and powder – that McGrath has designed to offer a complete skin ritual for all types and tones.

And it’s safe to say that the mother of make-up knows how to dial up the anticipation – The System’s dedicated campaign video had us staring at our screens for longer that is probably advisable. Shot by industry legend Steven Meisel, the viral video introduces Mcgrath’s latest muses, including Damian Hurley, Violet Chachki, Zhengyang Zhang and Primrose Archer.
The star of the show, however, is the Skin Fetish Foundation, which arrives in 36 shades. McGrath is confident that there’s one out there to suit every skin tone. The spectrum is divided into five levels, (Light, Light Medium, Medium, Medium Deep, Deep) and the texture is almost-serum-like, so you know you’re getting unreal radiance rather than a too-matte finish. Apply it with your fingers, patting gently into the skin, to mimic Mother’s signature application process.
