You've likely seen Refy’s hyper-glossy social media presence before: the brand is the baby of influencer Jess Hunt, known for her precisely contoured, intensely glazed signature beauty look, which blends a pinch of Nineties nostalgia with today’s glass-skin aesthetic.
But, back to the main event, the Brow Sculpt. Categorising our new favourite product is tricky: it’s not quite a gel, nor is it a wax. The consistency is that of a creamy PVA glue, white in colour but transparent on application (if you're applying it right, that is). Strong without being stiff, it creates that incredibly smooth, shiny lift that mimics the effects of a brow lamination treatment, and then stays there all day long: no flaking, falling or melting onto your eyelids.
How To Use Refy Brow Sculpt Correctly
Now for the fine details: there is a knack to using Brow Sculpt correctly, but we promise the results are worth the practise.
First up, start slow and sparse, wiping off excess product on the side of the tube. You can always add more, but once you've gone in too thick you'll be left reaching for the micellar water. Apply your product in light, vertical strokes, then employ the double-sided comb and brush to help you lift your hairs and smooth them against the skin. We like to angle the tail of each brow down slightly to create a sleeker, more elongated shape.
The brand advises following up with the corresponding pomade and pencil, but unless you’re looking to fill in sparse patches, we don’t think you need to employ all three.
The key is all in the precise application. Go in too heavy, and you'll get dry flakes appearing on your brow hairs. It's also imperative to clean the brush after each use, as any build-up will again lead to flaking. But once you’ve mastered it, trust us: you’ll never look back at those pomades, waxes and gels again.
