If the thought of planning fancy dress makes you come out in hives or the idea of waking up the morning after a socially-distanced Halloween gathering for six with black eye make-up and fake blood stained on your pillow isn't appealing, why not spend October 31 watching a scary film or series instead?

For horror and true crime genre fans, Halloween is a great occasion to convince the other people you live with to finally watch the scary film they've been putting off.

You can all get together, buy some pumpkin-themed treats and make fun Halloween cocktails while intermittently pausing the remote to greet trick or treaters at the door.

Netflix has some great viewing options this Halloween so browse through for some options. We recommend viewing with a blanket for keeping warm/hiding-from-the-TV purposes.
