Not to be outdone by North West, who last week joined the Kardashian-West family business by modeling her parent's children's clothing line, Blue Ivy Carter is now reportedly launching her own eponymous line of beauty products.

Oh, and did we mention she's five-years-old?

To be fair, I once ate half a bar of strawberry-shaped soap when I was four-years-old, so perhaps she too is an expert in every day cosmetic and bath essentials.

After all, 'some are born great, some achieve greatness…'

According to Vanity Fair, Beyonce is planning to launch a line of Blue Ivy Carter products after the now pregnant singer's company recently applied to trademark her daughter's name with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

According to reports Beyonce is planning to use her daughter's name to launch a beauty line, featuring everything from fragrances and hair care, as well as entertainment services, 'in the nature of live musical performances; production of motion picture films (and) fan clubs', video games and mobile devices.

However, this isn't the first time the 'Halo' singer and her rapper husband have tried to attain a patent on their firstborn's name.

Shortly after Blue Ivy was born in 2012, the pair tried to trademark her first name but a judge ruled that a Boston wedding planner had the patent first, according to VF.

However, the famous pair are now trying to patent their daughter's first name and surname, 'Blue Ivy Carter', for future business ventures.

The only thing my parents were trying to do to my name when I was five-years-old was stitching it into my P.E kit.

Oh, how times have changed.

The news comes days after the Grammy-award winning singer announced she was expecting twins with her husband and sent the world into meltdown.

Beyoncé never fails to surprise us.
