Cast your mind back to when K-beauty was yet to make it's way over to us. It was a dark time, one with infinitely less sheet masks and, ampules and essences, which, quite frankly we'd rather not think about.

Thankfully, today we have access to a magnitude of glorious, skin saving, Korean offerings and one of our ultimate K-brands, Glow Recipe have let us know that something very exciting is on the way.

Say hello to Pineapple-C Bright Serum, a light-weight, radiance booster that claims to get you glowing on tap. Contained in an Insta-worthy glass bottle that resembles a honey comb (although we're sure it's meant to be a mini pineapple?), you can just tell it's going to be starring up front in all the shelfies.

Inside, there's a blend of three potent forms of vit C, including pure Ascorbic acid, 22% pineapple juice - one of the strongest natural forms of vitamin C and stable 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic acid to blitz hyperpigmentation and scarring. Pineapple is also rich in natural AHAs that will slough away dead, dull skin, while natural calmers aloe vera and chamomile soothe, to cater to sensitive faces, too.

All in all, the formula sounds like a lacklustre skinned gals dream (hello, us) and it's already racked up 31 5-star reviews, so it must be doing something right. Over in the comments, people are also applauding it for it's hydrating and smoothing properties - is there nothing this serum can't do?

If you're savvy with your skincare science, you might be questioning the clear bottle, as a few people did on the Trendmood post. Vitamin C should be contained in a dark bottle to keep it from oxidising and becoming inactive, which is why you'll find many of them in brownish coloured glass.

Glow Recipe's CEO responded to the comments, saying that the bottle isn't actually as see-through as it appears and that it also has a special UV resistant coating. Christine did mentioned that it's best to store it in a "cool dark place," though. Panic over.

We're not entirely sure when, or even if it will be making it's way to us, as currently, there are only a few UK stockists with limited products, Cult Beauty, we're looking at you. However we're keeping our fingers, toes, legs and arms crossed.

The future (could be) bright(er).
