- Khloé Kardashian went on the Divorce Sucks! podcast to talk about how sucky co-parenting with Tristan Thompson is.
- She did, however, admit that Tristan is a great guy and a good dad to True Thompson.
Everybody gather 'round and be quiet, because Khloé Kardashian actually talked about Tristan Thompson IRL and not via 20 cryptic Instagram Stories! Okay, so, Khloé just went on the Divorce Sucks! podcast, which LOL, and got into how much she dislikes co-parenting with Tristan and why she tries to bottle up her feelings sometimes.
Referring to how she and Tristan recently broke up after he cheated on her with Jordyn Woods this year and other women right before True Thompson was born last year, Khloé told host Laura Wasser, "It does f*king suck because our personal emotions are still in there."
She continued, "So those emotions can be heightened at times, but I do everything in my power—True is one and, like, a month old—so she doesn’t really know what’s happening, but to me she does know and she feels energy and I’m a big believer of that.”
Khloé also added that she thinks True can pick up on these your-dad's-a-cheater vibes, so she tries to compartmentalise her feelings and not show any signs of trouble in front of their daughter. She said, "I do everything in my power to not put just any sort of heavy energy around her. Maybe that sounds are a little too bohemian to some people.”
Oh, Khloé also had something insightful to say about True's first birthday party and why she went out of her way to invite Tristan to the big bash. She said, "I didn’t do it because I thought she was going to remember this first party… but I know she’s going to want to look back at all of her childhood memories like we all do… and I want to give her the same thing." TBH, when she puts it that way, it makes a ton of sense why she risked having those super awkward moments with Tristan at the party.
Plus, despite everything he's done, Khloé still thinks Tristan is a "great person" and knows he loves and cares about True. An angel walks among us, you guys.
