Hours after apparently learning what the fourth wall was from the Ryan Reynold’s-starring franchise Deadpool, rapper, designer, father and Twitter philosopher shared pictures from his new Yeezy campaign on social media.
He posted around 30 snaps, sans caption, of people of varying ages, races, genders and levels of nudity on a concrete floor wearing typically beige Yeezy clothing.
The photographs are for the new Yeezy 500 Supermoon Yellow sneaker that comes in one colourway, and feature a whole load of Insta-stars, including the Clermont Twins and adult film actress Lela Star.
After Tweeting these pictures he announced his and his wife’s collaborator Eli Linnetz was behind the shoot, which he named the ‘desert rat campaign’.
Linnetz, who has worked on everything from West’s ‘Fade’ music video to Kim’s fragrance launch photographs, took to his Instagram to post even more shots from the series.
Some images saw families and children huddling together, whilst others saw completely nude women, bar socks and sneakers, in X-rated poses, one of whom looks strikingly like Kim K herself.
There's obviously a lot to take in here - the children, the bums, the socks. And it might be worth noting that only the women in the campaign appear nude.
Thankfully, there have been paparazzi images leaked elsewhere online showing a fully clothed Kim and Kylie Jenner apparently posing for Yeezy's next clothing campaign, which is nice.
