Days after we found out we’ve been saying Kim Kardashian’s baby daughter Chicago’s nickname wrong this whole time, we didn’t think it’d be possible to take another blow to our vernacular.

However, models Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid and Kaia Gerber have just pointed out we’ve been saying the name of the Italian fashion House ‘Versace’ completely wrong for years.

Embarrassed? Us? You betcha.

In a new video posted to Instagram, the models join creative director Donatella Versace to reveal the correct pronunciation of the luxury brand.

Rather than ‘Versa-chay’ (as we’ve been saying it for years), the stars speak one after the other in the clip to point out the label is actually pronounced like ‘Versa-chee.’

'It's Versace,' they say. 'Not Versace.'

After an education in speech from the models, Donatella is seen smiling and nodding to the camera at the end of the clip before the label’s logo flashed on screen.

Dressed in the brand's clothing, the models use their bodies to form the letters Versace.

In response, fashion fans have applauded the brand’s latest video which forms part of the brand’s new AW18 campaign dubbed ‘The Clans of Versace’.

‘This is by far my most favourite video,’ wrote one Instagram user.

‘LITERALLY HAVE BEEN TELLING EVERYONE THIS FOR THE LONGEST TIME!!’ added another.

'Outstanding' and 'extraordinary Versace!!!' were just a handful of other complimentary comments.

Consider yourselves told.
