While Venice Film Festival is in full swing, stars have also been stepping out for other film festivals across the globe. And last night, Elle Fanning stole the show by wearing a jaw-dropping, princess-inspired gown in France.

Attending the 44th Deauville American Film Festival in Deauville, France, to promote her new movie Galveston, Fanning looked like a literal angel in custom Miu Miu as she took to the red carpet. Walking alongside the movie's director, actress Mélanie Laurent, Fanning looked flawlessly elegant in the dramatic gown.

Adorned with a large bow on the front, the bodice of the Miu Miu dress featured a plethora of diamonds surrounding pastel yellow satin. The dramatic skirt was constructed of a billowing tulle fabric, which helped Fanning look like royalty:

The Miu Miu gown was also cut away in a striking fashion to reveal her back:

Fanning has a longstanding history with Miu Miu, so it's unsurprising that they created a custom gown for the actress. From appearing in their Spring 2017 ad campaign, to walking the runway for the brand in March 2018, Fanning is clearly a fan of Miu Miu, and vice versa.

The Neon Demon actress was promoting her new movie Galveston at the festival, in which she plays a prostitute on the run with a hitman, played by Ben Foster. Attempting to escape from his devious bosses, Foster takes Fanning on a journey to his hometown of Galveston, as he plans to start a new life away from the people that are after him.
