Kendall and Kylie Jenner turned up to the Met Gala 2019 as the ugly stepsisters, but obviously they didn't look ugly at all. Not even close.

The eldest of the daughters of Caitlyn and Kris Jenner, 23-year-old Kendall, wore her natural hair in a chic bun with adorable kiss curls, whilst her younger sister (the youngest of the Kardashian Jenner siblings) 21-year-old Jenner wore a vibrant purple wig in the same hue as her dress.

Kylie's purple and silver dress was typically naked, not that we are at all mad about this. If you've got it, flaunt it, that's we always say.

Stormi's mum's purple gown was sleeveless and she wore a feathered shawl over her tanned arms.

Comparatively, Kendall's orange dress featured a plunging neckline, and was embellished with feathers all over.

Just an hour ago the model shared a picture of the ugly sisters from the cartoon film Cinderella, insinuating that this was the sister's inspiration for the Camp theme gala.

But, of course, the gorgeous sisters didn't look ugly at all.

Following on from this year's Met Gala exhibition 'Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination', the Metropolitan Museum of Art decided its new focus of inspiration for the Costume Institute for 2019: 'Camp: Notes on Fashion'.

The theme is inspired by Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay 'Notes on ‘Camp', which is widely believed to have brought the idea of 'camp' to the mainstream. 'The essence of Camp is its love of the unnatural: of artifice and exaggeration,' Sontag once explained in Partisan Review.
